A little bit about the guild...

Mixed Sampler Quilt Guild was formed in 1987 by a local group of women that shared a passion for quilting.   Today our group claims over 100 quilt artists from northwestern Wisconsin and northeastern Minnesota.

 

Members are a diverse group of artists who create a wide variety of quilting styles including:

  * traditional

       * modern 

            *contemporary 

                  *pictorial

                       *landscape

A large variety of techniques including

       * applique

            * foundation paper piecing

                 *traditional patchwork

                      * embellished

                          * embroidery enhanced

​

Quilting

    * using a domestic machine

         * hand quilted

             * tied

                  *on a longarm

                         - freehand

                          - computerized

                           - ruler work

            

 

Meetings begin at 9AM on the 2nd Saturday of the month* at the Siren Senior Center in Siren, WI. Meeting topics include sharing projects, seeking advice for challenging quilting problems, and learning new techniques from quilting teachers from far and wide.
